Final Fantasy 7 had the biggest impact though. Never played GoldenEye, but I played the living hell out of Perfect Dark. I'm turning 28 in july, got all the way through from the NES (my dad bought one when I was real young) to this generation. The fact that you are so vehemently bitching about it means you have 1st World Problems. In conclusion, you are fortunate enough to own a PC or console, have enough money to buy a video game, and have the extra time to play said game. If not, I still enjoy the Dailies and DZ. I've enjoyed the hell out of this game and hope that the expansions are better than the Incursion. I don't think Massive, Ubisoft, or this game is shit/trash/etc.The game has some flaws and for those that were locked out at or shortly after launch, I empathize and sympathize. I'm doing Viking shit with my Viking friends-what is not too love? But, I'll be back on again today, playing with my friends that I know in real life and some that I met playing this game, and having a blast. Yeah, there has been some glitches along the way and yes I have cursed at my TV for getting the 29th HE Performance Mod in a row. I have had a blast playing with my friends from to start to lv 30 on this game. I am not a PC player, so I am not being 1-shot-killed in the DZ by hackers and/or cheaters (again, I get that frustration). I was not affected by the backpack or lost character glitch (that would be super annoying-I get it). Yeah, it is inconvenient to fall through a floor or get stuck in a wall.
If you are bitching about this game, you have no perspective on games of the 8th generation of consoles compared to games that were on Atari. The graphics, sound, story, multiplayer capability. I remember thinking back then (1996 or so) it can't get better than this! PC games too, but exclusively console now.ĭid you ever play James Bond or Perfect Dark? That 4 player action was the shit back in the day and me and brothers (friends) enjoyed the shit out of the games. I played the hell out of my NES, N64, Playstation, PS2 etc. I've been gaming since Atari and ColecoVision (look it up).
